A 1943 paper on early entrance to college by Aaron Brumbaugh, published in the volume Higher Education under War Conditions, edited by John Dale Russell. In 1950 Brumbaugh would become president of Shimer College, starting the early entrance program there, which is now the longest-running such program in the United States.
